Shortbread recipe for my decorated cookies
I am often asked at wedding fairs and wedding consultations what recipe I use in my decorated cookies. It is no trade secret – just a standard shortbread using butter, sugar and flour. No eggs required. A gluten free version has been worked on too to satisfy clients with intolerance or allergy to the gluten in wheat flour.
My decorated cookies have been very popular this month both as bridal favours and as birthday treats. They can be decorated to suit any theme and names of the guests have been added to some cookies to double as place names on the tables. Corporate cookies are also available to promote your business at trade shows or meetings.
All of the cookies can be individually wrapped to be given as favours or gift boxed for collection or postage within the UK.
